The Button Pusher
In the current political climate that we are living in with Media fear mongery having a field day at scaring the life out of people with threat of Nuclear war, it is easy to get caught up in the worry of the terrific attrocities that a nuclear holocuast would bring. Understandably, these worries are certainly not unfounded,especially with buffoons like Donald Trump constantly in the headlines taking on the world and dishing out threats like a fish farmer parts with fishfood at feeding time.
But, it is important that we dont let this hysteria get the better of us.So, i shall attempt to briely explain what is actually involved in a nuclear strike.
In the old days of the cold war, "The Button" was often spoke about.This implied that the president of the U.S.A. had a single button behind his desk that with one push would set off all the nuclear weapons and essentially blow the world up.
The reality of this though is slightly diffrent.
For one, there is no singular button.For the U.S alone there are, to the best of my knowledge, at least six people involved. Thats just for the U.S.A alone.
Now the president himself may wish all he wants to "Nuke em", but as far as his powers go with detonation , he has a code that he would enter to start off the process of mixing the Uranium and letting it run its chemitry that would when complete,detonate a nuclear bomb. However,it also takes the other 5 generals involved to enter their codes too before any such process can begin.
Now,once again,unlike the old days of the cold war where we percieved it to be a case of bomb aginst bomb,country against country,as you may or may not know, there exists the MAD programme (Mutually Aided Destruction). In a nutshell this means that should one country take the action of firing a nuclear missile, it will be met with a retalliation bomb and all the countries with nuclear weapons join in.So,essentially,if one bomb goes off, then they all doz and the world gets blown to pieces.
NOBODY WANTS THAT !
At least nobody in thier right mind.
Granted you may have one suicidal president who hates the world and decides that he wants to blow the world up.But remember,it would take at least six suicidal headcases all in the one room to be able to carry this out and each of them enter their individual codes for this to work.
So, what are the chances of that? Not impossible of course, but highly unlikely. In fact , you probably have a better chance at winning the national lottery jackpot six weeks in a row.
Therefor,unless you are not enlightened to how this works, then the threat of this happening ceases to be scary a long time ago.
The more likely worry is the hysteria caused by the threats.The threat of imminent death may well cause people to act irrationally and even suicidaly. People may well start acting like its their final moments nd so start taking vengence on others etc. This is all the more reason we cannot let this fear that they peddle get the better of us.
What i have just tried to explain to the best of my knowledge and ability is the facts. Lets stick to the facts rather than the fear mongery and threats that come from the mouths of the likes of Donald Trump and the media circus that rides alongside for the ratings.
"FACTS OVER FEAR " folks.
Dont let the fear mongersget the better of you.
You can be sure that they will sleep sound at night, so why shouldn't you.
Donald trump is a buffoon and a wind bag. Don't be letting his sort worry you with their empty threats.
